Taiwan Animals｜台灣動物用照片、插圖、3D 模型與沉浸式台灣地景，帶孩子認識台灣黑熊、穿山甲、台灣藍鵲、山羌、梅花鹿等代表性動物。
Apple Vision Pro 使用者已可下載；iOS / iPadOS 版本仍在審核中。沉浸式台灣地景由 DioramaMapMaker macOS 版產生。
每一種動物都有專屬介紹
每一種動物都有專屬介紹頁，內容包含俗名、學名、尺寸、平均壽命、食物、天敵、棲息地、是否為台灣特有種，以及目前族群狀況與保育重點。文字以兒童能理解的方式撰寫，避免過度學術化，同時保留正確的自然知識方向，讓孩子、家長與外國使用者都能輕鬆閱讀。

iPhone 與 iPad
在 iOS 與 iPadOS 版本中，使用者可以透過清楚的圖卡瀏覽動物，閱讀照片、插圖與知識內容。App 支援離線使用，適合在家中、學校、旅行途中或自然觀察活動中使用。
Apple Vision Pro
在 visionOS 版本中，Taiwan Animals 進一步把動物教材帶入空間運算環境。使用者可以進入沉浸式台灣地景，觀看漂浮在空間中的動物模型，並透過注視與點選探索每一種動物。
動物介紹會以獨立空間視窗呈現，包含可互動的 3D 模型、2D/3D 相片展示與文字介紹，讓自然教材不只是閱讀內容，也成為可以親眼靠近、觀察與探索的空間體驗。
由 DioramaMapMaker 產生的地景
Taiwan Animals 的 immersive environment 使用 DioramaMapMaker macOS 版產生台灣地景，再把輸出的 3D 地形接進 visionOS 教材體驗。這讓 Taiwan Animals 不只是單一 App，也成為 DioramaMapMaker 進入真實製作工作流的案例。
設計目標
Taiwan Animals 的目標不是取代專業圖鑑，而是成為孩子接觸台灣自然的第一扇門。從一隻動物開始，認識牠住在哪裡、吃什麼、面臨什麼樣的環境變化，也學會用更溫柔的眼光看待我們共同生活的土地。

A first doorway into Taiwan's animals.
Taiwan Animals helps children, families, and educators discover representative animals of Taiwan through photos, illustrations, 3D models, and an immersive Taiwan landscape.
Apple Vision Pro users can download it now. The iOS and iPadOS versions are still in review. The immersive Taiwan landscape was generated with DioramaMapMaker for macOS.
Dedicated Animal Pages
Each animal has its own detail page with key information such as common name, scientific name, size, average lifespan, food, natural predators, habitat, whether it is endemic to Taiwan, and its current conservation status. The writing is designed to be easy for children to understand while still keeping the science directionally accurate and useful.

iPhone and iPad
On iPhone and iPad, users can browse animals through clear visual cards and explore photos, illustrations, and educational facts. The app works offline, making it suitable for home learning, classroom use, travel, and nature observation activities.

On Apple Vision Pro, Taiwan Animals brings the learning experience into a spatial environment. Users can enter an immersive Taiwan-inspired landscape, observe floating animal models, and select animals to explore them in more detail.
Each animal experience includes an interactive 3D model, 2D/3D photo presentation, and readable educational text in separate spatial windows.
Terrain Generated with DioramaMapMaker
The immersive environment in Taiwan Animals uses a Taiwan-inspired terrain generated with DioramaMapMaker for macOS, then brought into the visionOS learning experience. This makes Taiwan Animals both a nature-learning app and a real workflow case for DioramaMapMaker.
Learning Goal
Taiwan Animals is not meant to replace a professional field guide. Instead, it is designed to be a first doorway into Taiwan's natural world. By starting with one animal at a time, children can learn where animals live, what they eat, how they survive, and why protecting their habitats matters.
